Bloomberg BDP and BDH Formulas in Google Sheets
BDP and BDH need Bloomberg's Excel add-in, and its software page lists no Sheets version. On Gloom Pro, a workbook ports to Google Sheets by find and replace: BDP( to GLOOM(, BDH( to GLOOMH(.

Where Gloom fits
Gloom covers
- Bloomberg tickers and mnemonics, London prices in pence as on Bloomberg.
- A whole table from one cell:
=GLOOM(A2:A4, B1:D1). #N/Awith the reason, as on Bloomberg.- The same data over the REST API.
Gloom does not cover
- Fields outside the field dictionary. They say why.
- Government and corporate bonds.
- Over 120 units a minute or 5,000 a day per key.
- An Excel add-in.
- A hidden key: every sheet editor can read it.
